The terms for using this accessibility checker, written to be read. The checker is operated by Egmer Marketing LLC DBA Egmer Consulting.

What the checker is

This is a limited automated scan for select accessibility issues associated with WCAG 2.0, 2.1, and 2.2, Levels A and AA. It tests one page using selected rules. It does not evaluate every WCAG requirement, or determine WCAG conformance, ADA compliance, or whether the rest of the website is accessible. Automated scans can miss issues and can flag items that need a person to confirm.

Not legal advice

Egmer Consulting is a website accessibility consultancy, not a law firm. Nothing on this site is legal advice, and nothing here promises legal protection. For advice about your legal exposure, talk to a lawyer.

No certification

Egmer does NOT issue or represent that it can provide governmental certification of ADA Compliance. For private businesses, DOJ has not adopted a detailed website technical standard equivalent to the Title II rule applicable to state and local governments.
