Privacy Policy

This is how the Egmer Accessibility Checker handles your information, written to be read. The checker is operated by Egmer Marketing LLC DBA Egmer Consulting.

What the scan collects

When you scan a page, the checker loads the web address you enter, runs automated accessibility rules on it, and shows you a score and tips. You do not need to give your name or email to run a scan.

What the report form collects

To see your full results, the form asks for your first name, last name, and email, and keeps the address you scanned with them. Those details go into Egmer's contact list so a person can contact you about your scan. They are not sold.

Periodic emails

If you check the separate box, you are also added to the Egmer Marketing newsletter list for periodic accessibility tips and information about Egmer services. If you leave it unchecked, you are not added. You can unsubscribe anytime using the link in any email, or by asking (see Questions below).

Analytics

The checker counts page views and four actions (scan started, scan completed, report form submitted, and call-to-action clicked) with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies.

Hosting

This site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel receives the standard request information a browser sends when it loads a page, such as your IP address and browser type, and uses it to deliver the site and keep it secure.
